Yesterday I bought a second
Universal Dance Pad from Gamestop. This way I can have a friend join me on DDR and we versus or co-op with each other. The pad was $20 and I was like "sweet deal!" Of course I'm thinking a steal but I should had know better to think that. In the end I really got what $20 was worth on that dance pad. I open the box with the excitement and I smelled a faint smell. It was like the smell when you get a pair of fresh new pair sneakers and pulling it out of the box for the first time. Imagin that but way stronger! It filled my whole room and didn't go away until like a hour or so. It really somewhat un-bearable. If that wasn't bad enough the pad is not very plushy. It felt flat but not to flat so it was ok. The second problem was that top cover of the pad slides a little bit(maybe they should have sewn it tighter). It was hard to do fast songs on it because it wouldn't register the right buttons because if the top cover slides a little down words it would register as you hitting the down arrow and will get stuck there until you straighten out the pad.I wouldn't highly recommend it but if you a budget then this somewhat descent at least. This dance pad brand from Gamestop works with xbox, wii, gamecube, and ps2.
I been away for a bit addicted to my rhythm games as of late. I been playing DDR: Hottest Party, Guitar Hero 3 as of late. These games might seem easy on the outside looking in but in vice versa it's really not at first. lol I did finally get the hang of
DDR(Dance Dance Revolution) and getting better at it the more I practice. You can turn off the gimmiks and the hand motion so it can play like any regular DDR which is really sweet. As for GH3(Guitar Hero 3) I also have been getting better. One level at a time I always say. lolI never really played rhythm games like this before but now that I have I think I'm addicted to them. The next rhythm game I plan to buy is Battle of the Bands which is coming out soon this month. I seen the trailers and it looks really kewl to me. I look forward to buying this title.
