Yesterday I bought a second
Universal Dance Pad from Gamestop. This way I can have a friend join me on DDR and we versus or co-op with each other. The pad was $20 and I was like "sweet deal!" Of course I'm thinking a steal but I should had know better to think that. In the end I really got what $20 was worth on that dance pad. I open the box with the excitement and I smelled a faint smell. It was like the smell when you get a pair of fresh new pair sneakers and pulling it out of the box for the first time. Imagin that but way stronger! It filled my whole room and didn't go away until like a hour or so. It really somewhat un-bearable. If that wasn't bad enough the pad is not very plushy. It felt flat but not to flat so it was ok. The second problem was that top cover of the pad slides a little bit(maybe they should have sewn it tighter). It was hard to do fast songs on it because it wouldn't register the right buttons because if the top cover slides a little down words it would register as you hitting the down arrow and will get stuck there until you straighten out the pad.I wouldn't highly recommend it but if you a budget then this somewhat descent at least. This dance pad brand from Gamestop works with xbox, wii, gamecube, and ps2.
I been away for a bit addicted to my rhythm games as of late. I been playing DDR: Hottest Party, Guitar Hero 3 as of late. These games might seem easy on the outside looking in but in vice versa it's really not at first. lol I did finally get the hang of
DDR(Dance Dance Revolution) and getting better at it the more I practice. You can turn off the gimmiks and the hand motion so it can play like any regular DDR which is really sweet. As for GH3(Guitar Hero 3) I also have been getting better. One level at a time I always say. lolI never really played rhythm games like this before but now that I have I think I'm addicted to them. The next rhythm game I plan to buy is Battle of the Bands which is coming out soon this month. I seen the trailers and it looks really kewl to me. I look forward to buying this title.
Well I know I haven't blogged here in a long time but I have been busy playing with the 4 new games that I bought for myself which I must say is very addictive. To afford them I had finally sold all my Xbox 360 games and some psp games that I don't play with anymore. I bought:
- My Sims(Wii)
- FF: Crisis Core (PSP)
- Call of Duty 4 (again for the PS3)
- Patapon (PSP)
I know Crisis Core received bad rating but people who are truly Final Fantasy lovers and Fans will have to differ. Personally I don't see anything wrong with this game. I mean sure you can't skip cut scenes but with the graphics so beautiful why would you want to.
I know I said I was gonna buy only 2 things this month from my Wish list but Final Fantasy: Crisis Core has gotten a release date and it's supposed to be in this month we are in now! So I'm saving money and getting my old games I don't play anymore but not for only that. The game is only $40+tax. I'm also putting in my reserve the Wii game which you probably can guess. Uh-duh Mario Kart Wii! lol Hopefully my situation will be me paying out for my Final Fantasy: Crisis Core and using my used games to pay out Mario Kart. If anything I will pay for the reserve and pay a little bit of the Mario Kart and pay the rest of it later.
I have a total of 8-9 games I'm gonna trade in so this is gonna be fun to see the outcome or downright awful Gamestop experience. (I really don't need another one lol)
So as soon as I read the title "PS3 update 2.17" and the one sentence out of the paragraph "this morning" I looked at the date it was posted and didn't bother to finish reading the rest and started my PS3 up. As it was downloading and installing I read the rest of the paragraph and I got excited for nothing I guess. The update was to only improve some of the online games. I'm thankful don't get me wrong but I was expecting the "In-game" XMB at least. Me expecting home would seem over the top and would me living in the dream world for it be coming out so soon.
The reason has been the one reason your probably thinking of. Yes, It's SSB Brawl. It has gotten me addicted and distracted along with other things that has been keeping my mind occupied. The game is really good and I love it. I recommend it to whoever is thinking about getting it. If you're not getting it still get it! Muhahaha! *cough* ehem... anyways I got my router and it's been working lovely with my Brawl so I'm very happy and satisfied. On my Wii I took the liberty of making Mii characters. So far I made:
- Ulquiorra (Espada 4 from bleach)
- Kon (Naruto)
- Sasuke (Naruto)
- Itachi Uchiha (Naruto)
- Kabuto (Naruto)
- A dead guy (yes I'm serious)
- L (Death Note)
- Pictures maybe to come of the Mii characters I made.
- I will post them in check Mii out and I will put code numbers by them so you can import them to your Wii that way instead of having to do the Wii number thing.
What I have schedual for today is to get $100 from my mother for helping her out and spend it! lol I plan to go to Gamestop today and pay for Brawl so all I have to do is pick it up on the 9th.
After that the rest of the money goes to a wireless router. I have already selected one out and have a second option in case they don't have that one or some other b.s reason why they don't have it. I plan to get the Netgear 802.11g Wireless Router with 4-Port Switch.
The diffrence in these besides what they offer is their prices. I will take the Netgear one if they have it since I heard from my PS3/Wii owners it was a good router. So my $100 is spent already :(

I'm sure whatever Maxis have in-store for Sim's fans it most likely to be followed by an army of expansions and stuff titles. We can all look forward to such future titles as The Sims 3: Blue Carpets Expansion, The Sims 3: Pimp My Microwave Style Stuff and how could we forget the impending classic The Sims 3: Five More Bathroom Wall Mirrors Anthology.
